For more information about what is involved in becoming a PA please see the "Being a personal assistant" guide by Skills for Care by clicking here.
PA Finder is not a care or recruitment agency and is also not an automated matching service and as such, PA Finder/SILC cannot be held responsible or liable for the recruitment of PAs. We strongly recommend that a thorough recruitment process is always followed including interviews, following up references and carrying out Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
SILC is able to provide free support with recruitment and DBS checks for people whose care is funded by Surrey County Council and/or the NHS. We are also able to support people who fund their own care or live outside of Surrey but we would have to charge for this, details of the cost of this can be obtained by contacting the SILC office.
